In a move seemingly ripped from a WWII script, film studios honchos have declared war on the owners of the ultra-convenient, and ultra-cheap Redbox movie rental kiosks.
New movie DVDs can be rented overnight from Redbox for just $1, compared to $5 at a Blockbuster store.
The difference: Blockbuster gives a cut of their dough to movie studios and Redbox does not.
