Disney/Pixar has purchased the first promoted Trending Topic on twitter! Stand back folks, this could be interesting...or not.
There has been a lot of talk about how Twitter's popularity has not translated into financial success. This is true. But it's also true that where there is an audience there is money to be made.
Disney/Pixar clearly realize this. How long until others hop on the bandwagon as well? And, more importantly, how long until mass commercialization takes its toll on twitters popularity?

@renny49 Toy Story 3 is 100% from 30 reviews on rotten tomatoes. Cannot wait. I suspect it could be the best reviewing film trilogy of all time!
