Happy Birthday Bart Simpson!

Bart Simpson, that rascally character from the hit Fox series, The Simpsons, was brought to life by creator Matt Groening 32 years ago today.
Wow! He still doesn't look a day over 9 1/2. It's amazing what a well placed eraser can do for cartoon characters.
Bart has always been voiced by the wonderful actress Nancy Cartwright who has done an excellent job of keeping his ne'er-do-well attitude and flippant tone sounding fresh and new, year after year.

On behalf of myself, the Twitter, and the fella who sits behind me at work quoting lines from the show all day long, Cowabunga, dude! and Happy Birthday Bart Simpson.
