Punxsutawney Phil doesn't see his shadow

Why we rely on a Groundhog to predict our weather is beyond me. Especially when you consider whether he sees his shadow or not, Spring still starts the same time each year.
Despite my misgivings people have been watching Punxsutawney Phil for decades and are no less excited about his predictions today (in the age of instantaneous satellite weather imagery) than they were in the 1950's when all you did to get the weather report was read the Farmer's Almanac.

Anyway, Phil did NOT see his shadow so Spring will start soon...about the same time it starts every year.
