It's Bastille Day. The day all French people unite in their appreciation for liberty, equality and a well-placed advertisement.
At least, that's the way it seems on twitter today.
"Bastille" is a Trending Topic but a majority of the Tweets seem to be ads aimed at people who might be celebrating the holiday as opposed to being in appreciation of it.
Maybe I am being too cynical. Here is a small sample. Judge for yourself:
