Flipping-out over 'Flipboard'

Don't look now but the latest Trending Topic on Twitter isn't another troubled celebrity, a recently released big budget film or even a dirty politician--no, it's an iPad app called Flipboard.

Flipboard is a social networking news aggregator which collects news posted by our social networking buddies and puts it together in what is being called a "magazine format."

It remains to be seen what impact this will have on feed readers and their users, but the fact the company has raised nearly $11 million in capital investment is a sure sign it will mean something....
