In what can only be further good news for the Apple iPhone (and less stellar news for AT&T) Verizon announced today it will make the iPhone available to subscribers.
AT&T formerly the only network which carried the iPhone has been repeatedly derided for having a network that does not do justice to the app-heavy iPhone.
What good is the iPhone, some said, if the network you are forced to use is junk?
Good question.
Needless to say, Twitter users are ecstatic.

@JenMitch Going Droid last spring was better than waiting a year for the iPhone at VZW. By end of contract I'll know if its a change I want.
