New Twitter? Or New Coke redux?

Many of us remember new Coke. For those who don't here's the gist: Coke discontinued "Coca-Cola" and instead released a new formula for its globally popular soft drink, called "New Coke."
Not only did New Coke taste terrible, the whole idea of alienating millions upon millions of existing customers created a public relations nightmare for the company...

Building on this legacy, Twitter is slowly releasing, New Twitter.
It remains to be seen exactly what users think of the service because Twitter is rolling it very, very gradually...very.gradually.

Here's the word so far:

@Gurlstrange There is nothing shit abt #newtwitter. U just need to get used to it. Except waiting for mentions to refresh is lame if ya know wat I mean

@littleowlsville where's the #newtwitter ??

@GregTracy @twitter why not make messages a first class citizen in #newtwitter and put the UI right next to my mentions?

@staticresolve Thanks @twitter for the #newtwitter! Definitely like it!

@easilyE DAMMIT. NO #newtwitter yet.

@twitter Still ramping up the #newtwitter. If you see a blue bar at the top of your homepage that means you can switch to the new version. Enjoy!

@AnaaBelieber Eu agardeceria se o twitter me mandasse o #newtwitter ! kkk'

@SippSippola @maoneill Replying to you via #NewTwitter now..Liking it so far, but still getting used to it..did you get yet?

@mfraase Finally got #newtwitter (no telling when; I don't use the website much). Went back to #oldtwitter after first use.

@miriama59 @tannawings Am I the only one who hasn't noticed anything? #newtwitter

@pauldowman It feels wrong to me that #NewTwitter profile URL's are different when signed-in vs -out. ♥ AJAX but it's OK to reload a page sometimes.

@MorganJTerrill Well, i am not sold on #newtwitter ever since the design changed i have been tweeting less.
