The San Francisco 49'ers are a Trending Topic on twitter today. fans are predicting the team will go all the way this season. Which would be quite an accomplishment for them.
Whether this rabid fan activity so early in the year will prove prophetic or pathetic is unclear, but it sure is interesting to see a niche topic rocket to the top of a global social network.
