Campbell testifies at war crimes tribunal

Supermodel Naomi Campbell testified before a UN war crimes tribunal investigating Charles Taylor, the former president of Liberia. She said she did receive a pouch of dirty looking stones, diamonds, but was unsure who they came from.

"After confirming her name and date of birth, Miss Campbell said the pair knocked on the door of her hotel room and woke her up late at night after the dinner with Mandela.

The men, who she had never met, told her “there is a gift for you”. They gave her a “pouch” which she opened the next morning and containing “a few small very dirty looking stones”."

Twitter is all abuzz with folks postulating at the strange turn of events which brought a pseudo-celebrity before a UN war crimes tribunal....and her reluctance to be bothered by the whole affair.
